Program Development

If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
–African proverb

I design collaborative events and workshops around reading and writing for all ages.  Working with clients to flesh out their goals and ideas, I design the curriculum or agenda, market the program, and conduct it myself or recruit speakers.

I have developed programs for professionals, schools, and community centers to engage an audience, foster communication, resolve conflict, and advocate for social justice.

Monroe Reads to End Racism:
I established a free collaborative program series with Monroe Branch Library and Monroe Family YMCA designed by turns for families, teens, and adults.  Beginning with common ground in a book selection, participants discuss history and racial challenges today, exploring unconscious bias and ways to be an ally to move our community forward.

Cursive Writing Camp:

Parent Forum:

Write That Blog!
I led a writing program for Rochester Professional Consultants.
